About
With roots in Los Angeles, CA and Dallas, TX, Hesper currently resides in Boston, MA. After graduating she worked as a research assistant, studying skin cancer at a children's hospital. There they nurtured their analytical skills, engaged with patients from diverse backgrounds, and gained insight into future pursuits.
Her mentor encouraged her to learn R to work with large datasets and soon she was immersed in the tech space; outside of lab they tinkered with other languages and coding projects centering accessibility and engagement, which resulted in an initiative streamlining workflows and boosting productivity.
As Hesper continues to hold her interdisciplinary background and curiosity close to heart, she aspires to utilize her technology skills to collaborate with others and develop an accessible community for all.
